First International training organized by Center for Education Initiatives (Latvia) Advocacy, informing and awareness-raising about the importance of pre-school education and ensuring social justice in education and training in February, 2016 in Riga. During the training participants from four project countries gained knowledge on the issue of social justice and had a meeting and discussions with Mr N.Rudevics, the leader of the International Roma Association and Latvian Roma Association, as well as Mr D. Kretalovs, the representative of the Ministry of Culture – the coordinating institution of Roma integration in Latvia. The group visited Roma Resource centre in Jelgava city.
International training was another proof of ISSA-s core values: the belief in the notability of pre-school education, the ability to look at others without prejudice and importance of mutual learning and enrichment among ISSA members.
